Aizen is a tall man with brown hair and eyes. In Soul Society, he wore glasses and a hairstyle parted on the right side of his head, giving him a friendly appearance. However, upon showing his true colors and leaving for Hueco Mundo, Aizen radically changed his appearance, tearing off his captain's haori, which in his case had wide sleeves, discarding his glasses, and switching to a slicked-back hairstyle with a stray lock of hair on his face.

Later, already in Hueco Mundo, he dresses in the style of the Arrancar, with long white garments with black borders, to which he adds, perhaps to demonstrate his preeminence over the rest, a thick purple cloth belt.

Aizen is surprisingly kind and courteous to all his interlocutors, allies and even enemies. His way of speaking is slow and deliberate, and his face always shows a peaceful calm, as if everything that happens around him was planned in advance. This, however, was yet another example of his dangerous and manipulative nature, which was capable of projecting a completely different image than the one he really has. The real Aizen cares little for those who serve him (both in the past and in the present), and sees them as mere pieces in a huge chess game.

In his own words, he is not affected by any kind of ethics or morals, which he considers unnecessary restrictions to his potential. Thus, Aizen lacks any kind of honor and compassion, not hesitating for a moment to use and even kill as many people as necessary to achieve his goals.
