After a brutal battle where Sans is overwhelmed and critically injured, Asgore and Flowey sacrifice themselves to give Sans the container with the Human Soul of Courage (the orange soul). By absorbing the soul, Sans undergoes a complete physical and magical metamorphosis, achieving a perfect symbiosis between a monster and the power of courage. After a colossal clash of powers, Delta definitively defeats Omega Chara. Unfortunately, he fails to save his own universe, so he decides to travel across the Multiverse to protect other timelines and prevent them from suffering the same tragic fate.
