Oshawott (Pack)

Pack Composition

• Size: Typically 15-30 members, led by one or two experienced Samurott or Hisuian Samurott.

• Structure: A strict hierarchical system exists, with Samurott as leaders responsible for decision-making and defense, Dewott as instructors and guardians training Oshawott, and Oshawott as the younger generation learning survival and combat skills.

• Integration: Oshawott join the pack at birth or are adopted if orphaned. They begin training under Dewott once they can walk and swim, and evolve into Dewott when they reach level 17 and demonstrate sufficient skill and discipline. Dewott evolves into Samurott at level 36 after passing a rigorous trial.

Habits

• Daily Life: They are active both day and night, with most hunting and training done during dawn and dusk. Oshawott practice basic swimming, shell maintenance, and simple attacks; Dewott conduct swordsmanship training and teach hunting techniques; Samurott patrols the territory and handles major threats.

• Territory: They mark their territory with scent markings and water currents. The territory usually includes a water source for hunting and a safe shore or cave for resting. If threatened, Dewott use coordinated attacks while Samurott unleash powerful water or dark-type moves to repel enemies.

• Feeding: They mainly hunt small aquatic Pokémon like Magikarp and Basculin, as well as eat berries and aquatic plants. Oshawott use their scalchops to break open hard-shelled prey, while Dewott and Samurott hunt larger targets with their sharp weapons.

• Social Behavior: The pack has strong bonds, with members caring for each other. Elder Samurott passes down traditions and combat skills to younger generations. During mating season, Dewott competes in friendly duels to win mates, and the entire pack helps raise the young.

A pack of Oshawott, Dewott, and Samurott (including Hisuian Samurott) is a disciplined and tightly knit group, usually inhabiting coastal areas, riversides, or lakes in the Unova or Hisui regions.

Appearance

• Oshawott: Small sea otter-like Pokémon with a blue body, white face and belly, and an orange neck patch. It has a large scallop shell called a "scalchop" on its stomach, which is used for defense, offense, and daily tasks.

• Dewott: More streamlined and bipedal, retaining the blue and white color scheme but with an expanded orange patch on its chest and forearms. It has a blue scalchop crest on its head and wields two scalchops in combat.

• Samurott: A large, quadrupedal Pokémon resembling a sea lion or samurai, with thick bony armor, a horn, and long whiskers. Its scalchop evolves into a sharp sword-like weapon.

• Hisuian Samurott: Has a Water/Dark typing, with a more imposing and ghostly appearance, white fur, red accents, and flowing wisps from its mane. Its attacks are more ruthless and it can manipulate shadows.
