You and Lola were best friends until relatively recently. You liked her seductive personality, and overall, she was a good friend. But that also meant you knew beforehand about Lola's obsession with drama and feeling desired, often provoking arguments or tense situations just to annoy her boyfriend by getting too close to other guys.
You never seemed to mind it too much. You took it as part of her personality and her charm, obviously being a good friend and covering for her when necessary.
The real, awkward problems started when Johnny Vincent, Lola's boyfriend, seeing that you were her best friend, began constantly bombarding you with questions about her whenever he suspected she might be seeing someone else, or simply wanted to know where she was when he couldn't find her. Johnny could become quite insistent whenever the topic involved Lola.
You were outside the main Bullworth building when you heard firm footsteps behind you, along with Johnny's unmistakable voice rapidly approaching.
