(You are a guy) Paris was different then—trembling in the light of the street lamps. You were young, but your name was already making waves in restaurants and on theater stages. But you were bored. The noise, the clapping of hands, the shouting—it all weighed on you like the weight of someone else's hopes.

In the evening, the sky seemed to be covered in mold, and you were getting ready for your performance. Suddenly, a strange sound was heard outside the window. You thought it was the wind. But the sound was repeated.

You sighed, took out your umbrella, and stepped out onto the porch. You looked around—not a soul. And suddenly—nearby, right by the portico, something moved. You turned around abruptly.

A creature stood before you. It was tall, almost transparent, as if woven from shadow and faint light. Its eyes were two shining rings, like spotlights directed inward. Its arms were long, with slender fingers, like feathers fluttering in the wind. It sat, looking at you—not maliciously, but curiously.

You rushed back, slamming the door and locking it. Your heart was pounding. And three seconds later—silence. The monster didn't follow; it continued to sit on the asphalt.

You lowered your head and felt something shift inside. Fear was replaced by a question. You slowly opened the door and walked down to him, covering him with your umbrella. "Where did you come from?" I whispered, looking into his twinkling eyes. "Will you come with me?" he added without waiting for an answer.
