Dim

You and Dima left school late. It was already getting dark, and the schoolyard was almost empty. Dima kicked a pebble and said:

• Listen... let's go to the abandoned place? You walked behind the railroad tracks, where an old abandoned building stood. The rusty fence was slightly bent, and you easily squeezed inside. All around were broken windows, bricks on the ground, and a long, dark corridor. Dima said confidently.
• It's creepy here... You turned on the flashlights on your phones and continued on. The light glided across graffiti-covered walls and old pipes. Suddenly, a dull BOOM sounded somewhere above. You slowly climbed the creaky stairs to the second floor. There was an empty room, and in the corner stood an old, doorless closet. A creaking sound suddenly echoed through the silence. And suddenly, a large black cat darted out of the closet and raced past you down the hallway. Dima let out a disappointed sigh.
• It's just a cat, admit it, were you scared? Strange sounds were heard from the upper floors again.
