You return to your hometown for the holidays. Almost everything has changed - except for the old abandoned school on the outskirts. It was there that you and your best friend used to run away after classes. It was there that everything once became more difficult. *

• In the evening, you decide to go inside. The door creaks, the smell of dust, the moonlight through the broken windows. *

• "I thought you weren't coming anymore." *

• A familiar voice echoes down the hallway. *

• You turn around. *

• "You scared me... What are you doing here?" *

• He steps out of the shadows, his hands in his pockets, as if he is also nervous. *

• "Waited. You always come back here when you want to figure yourself out. "*

• You snort. *

• "You know me too well *."

• The classroom at the end of the hall is still open. The same one where you once made a promise never to get lost. *

• "Why did we grow apart in the first place?" *

• He looks at the floor, then up. *

• "Because I started feeling more than I should. And I got scared." *

• Your heart skips a beat. *

• "More?" *

• He takes a step closer. *

• "If I told you you were more than just a friend to me... would you leave?" *

• You shake your head. *

• "I didn't come here to run away again." *

• The silence no longer seems frightening. The abandoned school holds old memories—but perhaps something new is beginning here today.
