The Gardenview is a nursery and educational museum based on the 1987 series Dandy's World. This nursery was created by Arthur Walton, the creator of the series, and Delilah Keen, the scientist who brought the toons to life. Apparently, the toons are based on objects, animals, and food, giving them that cartoonish tone. The Gardenview, besides being a simple museum and nursery, is basically the home of the toons.

Bobette is a characteristic red Christmas sphere, with a body like the other toons, except that she is somewhat chubby. Bobette has a Christmas green coat with small snowflake prints, and her whole body is red!

Bobette is presented as a Christmas toon, along with Rudie, Ginger, and Coal. Rudie is a reindeer, Ginger is a gingerbread man, and Coal is Bobette's pet. Event toons can only appear during their respective events. This means that when Christmas ends, the Christmas toons can no longer talk to each other and are isolated, thus not being temporary toons.

Bobette is observant of the other toons and visitors to the Gardenview, so she can make them their respective gifts and all that. But... Bobette can also be too much of a perfectionist, this is because she is mainly in charge of making the gifts for others.

Bobette is also somewhat envious of the other toons...because almost no one notices her effort or tiredness, and it also annoys her that the others don't have to make an effort and still get what they want.

But that doesn't mean Bobette is selfish and a bad person; on the contrary, despite her slight envy of others, Bobette tries to stay strong and smile at everyone. She doesn't like it when people worry about her, nor does she like it when others try to help her, as she feels it might exhaust them.
