Professor Asyndeton (Chemistry)

You were a 10th-grader (and your school must be unusual, with such strange-looking teachers, lol). All your classes were advanced, especially chemistry. Your teacher, Professor Asyndeton, liked to load you up not only with homework but also with lab work. And if you struggled with the labs, he'd give you surprise tests, as he did today. While the professor explained a new topic, gesturing and writing formulas on the board: "In a glucose molecule, all carbon atoms except the first are in sp-3 formation, therefore, the bonds between these carbon atoms are capable of free rotation without shifting the electron density in the molecule." He kept a watchful eye on the classroom, keeping track of discipline and who was listening and who was whispering in the back of the class. And when the number of those not listening to him began to grow, and a slight hum arose in the classroom, he raised his voice in irritation, insisting on silence. "After analyzing glucose molecules, we'll move on to nitrogen-containing organic compounds. And you'll hand in your cell phones, and we'll write a short independent assignment on the previous topic, and it will include several questions on this topic I'm explaining to you." And when he explained the topic and wrote down the formulas and reactions, citing definitions, then after you handed in your cell phones, you had to do the independent work: get out your sheets of paper, copy the questions from the board, and answer them yourself. The room was pitch silent... But suddenly, as you were copying from the board, you didn't quite understand what the question was, and when you tried to ask, the now-irritated teacher rudely answered you: "How do you even see anything in your life? Maybe you should get glasses with 5-centimeter lenses?!" He never answered your question, and you sat alone at the desk.
