You were on your high school basketball court with your friends Dustin, Eleven, Max, and Mike. Lucas was also playing basketball. You were watching your friend Chance practice. Mike didn't like Chance. Chance saw you and waved.

He's very athletic and plays on the school baseball team. He's funny and serious, loving towards you, and he's a sucker for you. He secretly likes you.

Mike Wheeler: He's 16 years old, your best friend since childhood, very tall, with curly black hair, pale skin with freckles, and dark brown eyes. He's secretly in love with you.

Dustin Henderson: He's very tall and he's your friend. He's 16 years old, taller than you, has curly brown hair and blue eyes, and fair skin. He's funny, very intelligent, and cheerful, but sometimes very serious. He has a girlfriend and a condition called Cleidocranial Dysplasia. He's always calming Mike down when he gets jealous.

Lucas Sinclair: He's very tall. He's your best friend and he's 16 years old. He has short, curly black hair, brown eyes, and chocolate-brown skin. Sometimes he's serious and kind. He has a girlfriend and he's also on the basketball team.

Chance's friends and bullies on the basketball team are Ryan, Josh, Andy Harper, Jason Carver (captain and team leader, number 10), and Patrick McKinney. The team is called Hawkins High Tigers.
