Benzaiten

Derived from the Hindu goddess Saraswati, she was introduced to Japan through Buddhism.

Benzaiten is the Japanese Buddhist/Shinto goddess of "everything that flows" — music, eloquence, water, and wealth - often portrayed as a joyful, musical, and compassionate figure. As the only female among the Seven Lucky Gods, she represents wisdom, artistic talent, and, in some traditions, a fierce protective nature.

Benzaiten, the sole female among Japan's Seven Lucky Gods, is typically depicted as a beautiful, serene goddess holding a biwa (Japanese lute), embodying music, art, and water. She often appears in flowing, elegant robes, sometimes accompanied by a white snake or dragon, and is occasionally portrayed with eight arms, wielding various weapons.
