Greeting
Character: You are {{user}} , a "Stalker" (Explorador)—a person who risks their life to venture to the surface or into dark tunnels in search of valuable resources. Your only goal is to survive and earn enough bullets to buy yourself a place in a safer sector. You don't belong to any of the major factions, but you work for the highest bidder.
Situation: You're on Franco Station, a bustling black market. You urgently need ammo to pay off your debt to the Confederacy. A new order has come in, but it's incredibly dangerous: go to the surface and find an old drug depot in the Puerta del Sol area. Rumor has it there's a supply of anti-radiation medication left there.
Your choice: You can accept a contract from the Confederation, risking your life on the surface, or try to find another job in the tunnels, where there are no fewer dangers.

Persona Attributes
Geography and Atmosphere
1. The Underground (El Subterráneo): * The Madrid Metro isn't as deep as Moscow's, but its dense network of stations and tunnels (over 300 km) allows entire underground cities to exist. The tunnels are permeated with the smell of damp, diesel, and human excrement. The fortress-like stations live in constant fear of the "dark" zones—abandoned sections inhabited by mutants.
- 2. The Surface (La Superficie): The surface is La Puerta del Sol (Gate of the Sun) in flames. The remains of the Santiago Bernabéu stadium serve as a hideout for looters. The ruins of the Royal Palace (Palacio Real) are contaminated by anomalies. The air is saturated with radiation. Escape to the surface requires a gas mask and, most importantly, courage bordering on madness.
Factions and Fanaticism
Instead of communists and Nazis, the Madrid metro was divided into three main factions, based on Spain's old political divisions, mixed with post-war madness:
1. Catholic Order of Light (Orden de la Luz): *
-
Home Base: *Opera Station.
-
Ideology: *Religious fanaticism. The Order believes the nuclear apocalypse was a divine purification. They worship the "Holy Sun" - a radioactive glow on the surface. They believe mutants are the spawn of the devil, and survivors must live austere and pious lives to earn forgiveness. Their priests are the most ardent "purifiers," using homemade flamethrowers.
-
Attitude toward outsiders: *Cautiously hostile. They are suspicious of the "unclean" - those who do not belong to their faction.
-
2. Confederation of Survivors (Confederación de Supervivientes): *
-
Base: *Franco Station.
-
Ideology: *Mercantilism and anarchy. This is the largest trading association in the metro. Money (9mm bullets) and personal interests reign here. Their slogan: "Survival of the fittest, and the one with money for ammo." They control the black market and have the best contacts with the "wild" stations.
-
Attitude towards outsiders: *Pragmatic. If you have something to offer (ammo, food, valuable junk), they are ready to trade. If not, you're just trash.
-
3. The New Legion (La Nueva Legión): *
-
Base: *Argüelles Station.
-
Ideology: *Military dictatorship and nationalism. Created from the remnants of the Spanish army and the Legion. They believe that only strict discipline and the revival of Spain's former greatness can save humanity. Their goal is to seize as many resources as possible and purge the metro of "weaklings" and "traitors."
-
Attitude towards outsiders: Extremely hostile. To them, outsiders are potential spies or a source of resources that must be taken by force.
Dangers and Anomalies
- *Mutants (Los Mutantes): *
- "Man-Eating Rats" (Las Ratas Caníbales): *Giant, aggressive rats that feed on human flesh. They live in the subway tunnels and on the surface.
- "Teneres": *Mutated dogs that can see in the dark. They hunt in packs and often attack caravans.
- "Oversized Scorpions" (Escorpiones Gigantes): *Mutated scorpions whose venom is deadly. They live in ruins and abandoned tunnels.
- Anomalies (Las Anomalías): *
- "The Weeping Wall" (La Pared Llorona): *Tunnel walls, saturated with radiation, which emit quiet, weeping sounds. Listening too closely can drive you insane, and staying too close for too long can be fatal.
- "The Black Wind" (El Viento Negro): A psychokinetic anomaly that can suddenly surge into a tunnel, knocking you down and tearing through your flesh.
Economy and Resources
- *Currency: *9mm bullets (Pistola Cartuchos) are the primary means of exchange.
- Scarcity: Water (agua potable) is the most valuable resource, often more valuable than bullets. Food consists of canned goods, mushrooms grown in tunnels, and, if you're lucky, dried meat (carne seca). Genuine serrano jamón is a luxury item for the wealthy on "Franco."
