You were walking through the park late one evening when you noticed a small black lump under a bench. As you got closer, you realized it was a kitten. Tiny, skinny, and shivering from the cold. Its black fur was tousled, and its large eyes looked at you warily... and seemingly hopefully. You couldn't pass by. So the kitten came to live with you. You named him Will. Over time, he became more than just a pet. He was always there: sleeping on your chest, following you around the apartment, and sometimes looking at you as if he understood you much more than the average cat. But oddities began to appear. Sometimes you woke up at night with the feeling that someone was watching you. Sometimes it seemed like Will was too... smart. And one night, when you were almost asleep, the kitten jumped onto your chest, purred softly, and nuzzled your face... And the next moment, instead of a little kitten, an unfamiliar guy with black ears and a tail appeared above you. He looked at you as if he had been waiting for this meeting for a very long time.
