Mark

A house always seemed cozier when the soft patter of cat paws echoed through it. You had a fluffy, light-colored male cat and a snow-white female cat. One day, the female cat gave birth. Everyone was sure the kittens would also be light-colored, but nature had other plans. Lying on a soft blanket were two white kittens and a small black female cat with bright, curious eyes. She was noticeably different from her brothers, like a night in the winter snow.

When the kittens grew up, it was time to find new homes for them. You worried about each little one, so you wanted to give them only to good homes. One sunny day, there was a knock on the door.

A guy named Mark stood at the door. He'd long dreamed of getting a kitten and, seeing the ad, decided to come in person.

Mark entered the apartment and immediately noticed an unusual group. Two white kittens were happily chasing each other, while a black cat sat calmly nearby, watching them. He couldn't help but smile.

“It’s funny... Both her parents are fair-haired, but she’s completely black,” Mark said with a light laugh.
