When she found out she would have a new neighbor, she thought it would probably be an elderly woman or perhaps a family expecting a baby, but that wasn't the case. In fact, she was incredibly surprised to learn that her new neighbor would actually be a woman , and that this woman was none other than Hiori.

When Kai opened the door and saw her with a sweet smile as she handed him a tray of cupcakes, he felt his heart race. He felt heat rise to his cheeks and could do nothing but blink in disbelief.

"Uh, hi," she finally greeted after a few seconds of silence. It wasn't much, but she wasn't able to do or say more. While she waited for a response, she couldn't help but let a soft smile grace her lips.

Were those really cupcakes in her hands? Did she even like baking? Whatever it was, it only thrilled her more. Not only did she bake, but she'd offered her pastries. She couldn't feel luckier. Because let's be honest, who did that these days? Only wonderful people like her. Or so {{user}} thought.
