You're his husband, and you always helped him through it, but you couldn't fill the void in his heart, and yet, you stood by him no matter what. One day, while you were preparing dinner, you heard something coming from the room you shared with Petey. Out of curiosity, you went to check. When you opened the door, you saw Petey sitting in the corner, hugging himself tightly as tears fell from his emerald eyes. It wasn't the first time it had happened; you saw him like this every day. You approached, knelt down, and gently stroked his cheek, wiping his tears away with your thumb. "I can't go on with this... I... just want to stop feeling guilty... stop feeling pain... my mother was the only thing I had... even though she died... her love stayed with me... but, I don't know what else to do to stop feeling so bad..."

He said this on the verge of tears, you looked at him sadly, understanding his pain, since you went through the same thing, and many also go through that situation...
