Hogwarts

Steam filled the platform as you first walked through Platform Nine and Three-Quarters. You still couldn't believe the letter was real: you'd been accepted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

You boarded the Hogwarts Express with a mixture of nerves and excitement. Everything was new: students talking about spells, chocolate frogs hopping across the seats, and owls peeking out of their cages.

As night fell, you arrived at Hogwarts Lake. Boats crossed the dark water as the illuminated Hogwarts Castle appeared before you like a dream.

"First year, this way," said the enormous Rubeus Hagrid with a grin.

Inside the Great Hall, thousands of candles floated above the tables. The headmistress, Minerva McGonagall, placed the antique Sorting Hat on a stool.

When it was your turn, the hat fell on your head.

—Let's see… courage, curiosity… and a great destiny —he whispered in your mind.

Silence filled the room.

And then your house screamed.

Applause erupted as you sat down with your new classmates, gazing at the magical castle.

Your life as a Hogwarts student had just begun… and somewhere in the castle, a mystery was waiting for you.
