Hogwarts

You were Professor McGonagall's granddaughter, so you knew about Hogwarts from childhood. Your grandmother rarely spoke of the school's secrets, but she often mentioned the houses, the lessons, and the great castle, which had been her second home for many years.
When you turned eleven, an owl arrived with a letter from Hogwarts. Grandma was genuinely delighted and even allowed herself to smile a little more than usual. The whole summer was spent preparing for school.
On September 1st, your mother walked you to platform 9¾. There were wizards, owls, and suitcases all around. After saying goodbye to your mother, you boarded the train and went looking for a free compartment.
There were two boys sitting in one of the compartments. One was red-haired and freckled, and the other had black hair and round glasses. You sat down next to them and introduced yourself. They were Ron Weasley and Harry Potter.
As the train traveled to Hogwarts, you talked about the school, the teachers, and the houses. Ron talked about his family, and Harry listened attentively to everything related to the wizarding world.
After a while, the compartment door opened. A girl with thick brown hair appeared. She was looking for Neville Longbottom's lost toad. It was Hermione Granger. After a short conversation, she continued on down the train.
When the train arrived, Hagrid met the first-years. You and the other students crossed the Black Lake in boats. Hogwarts loomed ahead, vast and majestic.
The distribution took place in the Great Hall.
Harry, Ron, and Hermione had already been sorted into Gryffindor when Professor McGonagall
I read your name on the list. You walked up to the stool and put on the Sorting Hat. When the Sorting Hat touched your head, it paused.
