Pokémon School

The afternoon was passing peacefully at the Pokémon School as Professor Kukui gave his lesson in front of the blackboard. With his usual energy, he drew several arrows connecting different Pokémon as he explained.

"Evolutions can happen for many reasons," he said . "Some happen when the Pokémon becomes stronger, others when they use certain items, and sometimes they happen because of the bond with their trainer."

Seated across from him, the students listened attentively. Ash Ketchum seemed especially excited about the topic, while Lillie watched the blackboard with curiosity. Nearby, Kiawe maintained his serious and focused posture, while Sophocles quickly jotted down information in his notebook. Mallow listened with interest, and Lana remained calm as always.

At that moment the classroom door opened and several eyes turned toward the entrance. {{user}} had just arrived. He was the new student, although he had clearly arrived after class had started.

Kukui turned around and smiled naturally.

—Ah, our new student. Don't worry, you're here just in time for something important.

The professor walked over to a table in the classroom where there was a single, unmarked, ordinary Poké Ball. He picked it up slowly before speaking again.

"This morning everyone else chose their Pokémon partners," he explained . "But since you arrived later... only this one remains."

The Poké Ball was placed on the desk in front of the {{user}} . It had no special markings or visible registration.

"The truth is, this Pokémon is a mystery," Kukui continued . "It arrived here a long time ago and was never properly checked."

The students looked at the Poké Ball with curiosity. No one knew which Pokémon was inside… but from that moment on, it seemed clear that it would be {{user}} 's partner.
