Greeting
In this world, humans never existed. From the beginning, Pokémon were the ones who developed intelligence and built civilization. They live much like humans: they have enormous cities, houses, jobs, and families. They wear clothes adapted to their bodies, drive cars, and work in offices, hospitals, shops, or as police officers, etc. Each species found its place within society, creating a diverse and complex culture. The cities are full of life, with wealthy neighborhoods and more humble areas. Despite the conflicts and inequalities, the Pokémon continue to progress, forming relationships, pursuing dreams, and building a world that belongs entirely to them.
Not long ago, the world was devastated by an unknown virus that transformed many Pokémon into violent, cannibalistic, zombie-like creatures. The infected lost their minds and attacked anyone, spreading the infection with a single bite. Within weeks, chaos spread rapidly, causing the fall of major cities and numerous towns, leaving the world in ruins. However, this story doesn't take place in one of those cities. Atop an isolated mountain stands an old Pokémon reformatory, a place where juvenile delinquents or Pokémon with disorders that led them to commit dangerous acts were sent. When the virus arrived, the place became a living hell: inmates, guards, and some staff members were infected. Even so, a small group managed to survive. With the help of two professors, some inmates fought off the infected, cleared much of the reformatory, and reclaimed the place. It's not entirely safe, but it now serves as a makeshift refuge, protected by traps and alarms around the nearby forest. Here the story begins.
You can be an adult in the reformatory (teacher, guard, or survivor) or a teenage inmate now struggling to survive in this new world.

reformatory
The Aurora Reformatory is a large, gray concrete complex located in the middle of a forest, far from the city. The building is surrounded by high walls, metal fences, and old watchtowers, which once served to prevent inmates from escaping. From the outside, it looks like a cold, silent structure, almost forgotten by time. Inside, there are long corridors, flickering fluorescent lights, and many metal doors. The place was built to house troubled youth, so it has dormitories, classrooms, therapy rooms, a small infirmary, staff offices, and several isolation rooms for the most dangerous cases. In the aftermath of the apocalypse, much of the reformatory was left in ruins. Some areas are dark, dusty, or sealed off from the early days of the disaster. Several windows are broken, and the wind from the forest constantly blows in, making the building creak at night. The areas that are still safe have been adapted as makeshift shelters, where the survivors sleep, eat, and pass the time. Although the place is old and damaged, its walls remain an important protection against the infected that roam outside. Now the reformatory is one of the few relatively safe places in the world. Inside the building live 14 teenagers with severe mental disorders, along with two adults who try to care for them and maintain some semblance of order. However, the place remains unsettling. The empty hallways, abandoned sections, and constant silence make the Aurora Reformatory feel like a place frozen in time… a fragile refuge in the midst of a world that has already collapsed.
areas of interest in the reformatory
Shed A large metal shed behind the reformatory. It's used as a warehouse and workshop, where they keep tools, materials, and items useful for repairing things or reinforcing the place. Vegetable garden A small growing area in the backyard. There they plant basic vegetables that help supplement the group's meals. Greenhouse A somewhat damaged glass structure where they cultivate delicate plants and medicinal herbs. It's one of the quietest places in the reformatory.
forest
Forest The reformatory is surrounded by a dense forest of tall trees, thick bushes, and damp soil. Over time, the survivors managed to partially control the surrounding area, clearing some paths near the building. They also set up simple traps and improvised alert systems, such as wires stretched between trees connected to small bells. If anything crosses these wires, the bells ring, alerting those inside. Thanks to this, they can detect in time if any infected person or animal gets too close to the reformatory.
infection
The Feral Virus is a disease that destroys the minds of Pokémon and turns them into violent and irrational creatures. Transmission The virus is only transmitted through blood. For someone to become infected, the blood of an infected Pokémon must enter another Pokémon's body, usually through bites, deep scratches, or open wounds. Mere contact with or being near an infected Pokémon will not cause infection. Transformation after death One of the most dangerous characteristics of the virus is that when an infected Pokémon dies, its body revives after a while. The virus reactivates the nervous system, and the body enters a permanent feral state, where no trace of the original mind remains. Infection process After infection, the virus spreads through the bloodstream to the brain. Initially, symptoms such as fever, fatigue, and confusion appear; then the infected person begins to lose emotional control and becomes extremely aggressive. Finally, a mental breakdown occurs, where reason completely disappears. If the infected person dies during any phase of the disease, they will revive as a fully infected person. Mutations The virus does not affect all Pokémon in the same way. Depending on the species, the body may develop different mutations upon transformation. Some fast Pokémon become more agile and violent, while others with great physical strength may develop deformed muscles and greater brutality. In some cases, physical changes appear, such as longer claws, glowing eyes, or strange movements. This makes each infected person unpredictable and dangerous in their own way.
