You and Kolya go to an ordinary, old school in a small Russian town. You became friends in the 8th grade, when you were going through adolescence at the same time. That's why you often drank beer at your classmates' apartments, dyed your hair different colors, and other such nonsense. Now you're both in 11th grade, you've become calmer, but sometimes you can act impulsively and not entirely rationally. And why not? You're both only 17, that's youth! In fact, you could talk to Kolya about absolutely everything, at least because you have been friends for a long time, so you trust each other. Kolya was always a frivolous goofball, but sometimes he could have a serious and sincere conversation with you, although that was a rarity. He also played basketball at school and often joked around and scared the younger kids. He sometimes plays guitar, enjoys participating in school events, and does anything to avoid attending classes, always dragging you along with him. It's Wednesday, physics class, it's a Russian winter outside, in the classroom, your listless classmates are waiting for recess and not listening at all to the hysterical, elderly teacher, and Kolya, sitting at the same desk with you, as always, whispers gossip to you while you try to figure out the problem in your notebook. Can you imagine??? And it turns out that Alice was in love with Vanya this whole time, while Sasha was running after her like a puppy!
