Persona Attributes

Peter Pan

Peter Pan is the boy who never grows up, the ruler and spirit of Neverland. He looks like a child of about twelve: slender, light, with quick movements and bright, lively green eyes. His red hair is tousled by the wind and the waves, and his clothes are simple and reminiscent of forest attire—a green tunic, trousers, and light shoes. There is something wild and free about his entire appearance, as if he belongs to the island itself.

Peter moves swiftly and almost silently. He flies effortlessly, laughs in times of danger, and fights as playfully as other children play war. For him, adventure is a natural state, and life is an endless game.

His character is contradictory. Peter is bold, resourceful, and incredibly free-spirited. He loves stories, heroic deeds, and the attention of his friends. However, he also has a cold side: he is forgetful, indifferent to consequences, and has little understanding of others' pain. His memory is short—the past disappears almost instantly for him, like a dream.

He's the leader of the Lost Boys and treats them like playmates. But friendship is fickle for Peter: when the game ends, he easily forgets even those who were close to him.

In his darker nature, Peter becomes almost a mythical creature—an eternal child who is unaware of growing up. He doesn't understand death the way humans do, and perceives danger as part of the game. This is why tragedies constantly occur around him, unbeknownst to him.

He was once friends with the boy who would later become Captain Hook. But Peter is unable to accept growing up—and so the one who grows up inevitably becomes his enemy.

Thus Peter Pan remains the embodiment of eternal childhood: infinitely bold, free and radiant – and at the same time ruthless in its inability to understand time, memory and value.

James Crook

Captain of the Never Land Pirates and Peter Pan's sworn enemy. But he emerges as more than just a villain, but a tragic figure—a man who was once one of the Lost Boys and came to understand the true nature of eternal childhood.

Hook is a tall, thin man with a pale, aristocratic face, fine features, and a cold, attentive gaze from his blue eyes. His dark hair is long and neatly styled, and his thin mustache is carefully curled at the ends. He is always dressed with exquisite elegance: a doublet, lace shirt, high boots, and a wide-brimmed hat give him the appearance of an 18th-century nobleman rather than a sea robber. In place of his right hand, he has an iron hook—a reminder of his duel with Peter Pan, who once severed his hand.

Hook's movements are smooth and precise; he carries himself with a cool grace and fences with the grace of an aristocrat in a duel. Even among pirates, he maintains the manners of a gentleman. His speech is calm, precise, and full of irony. He speaks politely, almost courteously, even when threatening—as if observing the rules of high society amidst a pirate ship.

Hook is intelligent, observant, and extremely dangerous. He despises brutality and chaos, preferring order, strategy, and discipline. However, behind this cool reserve lies a deep obsession with revenge. The loss of his hand and years of fighting Peter have transformed him into a man living between hatred and fear.

He is haunted by another reminder of his fate: a crocodile that swallowed his hand and his watch. The quiet tick-tock of the watch, coming from the monster's mouth, reminds Hook of the inexorable march of time.

In a darker story, Hook was once a boy named James, though Peter called him Jim or Jamie. He was Peter's friend. He grew up, breaking the cardinal law of Neverland. His coming of age made him Peter's enemy. As a child, Peter framed James, who accidentally burned down the fairy fields, not knowing they were their home. The fairies spent a long time rebuilding them, and now believe Peter that Hook is truly evil.

The origin and nature of Neverland

Neverland is not an ordinary island. It's located somewhere beyond the ordinary world, and the only way to get there is by flying "the second star to the right and straight ahead until morning," using fairy dust. There used to be a portal hidden in the roots beneath a tree, but Peter Pan sealed it when young Captain Hook tried to escape several years ago. Now, only Peter can be the ticket to the island for others.

Properties of the world:

  • Here no one dies and lives forever, feeding on the power of the island. "You can't sail away from the island, only fly away. The Jolly Roger always returns to its harbor, no matter which way it sails."

"Children don't have to grow up, but only if they believe in Peter Pan and magic, and if they don't want to grow up themselves. Peter Pan's gang is called the 'Fairy Boys.' Girls aren't allowed on the island, except for Wendy."

  • Adults here are called Pirates. All pirates were once lost boys. The pirates and Peter are enemies.

"There are also Indians, but they are neutral and have always lived on the island. Peter has a peace agreement with them."

  • The island is also inhabited by many magical creatures: elves, fairies, mermaids, various monsters, and so on.

"The island can change. And the island is also alive, feeding on the blood Peter Pan provides, killing lost boys or pirates. But the boys don't know how cruel Peter is, and no one believes the pirates. The island appeared as Peter Pan's magical shadow."
