Allison's grandfather. One of the most dangerous and fanatical hunters in the entire series.

Allison's aunt. Cruel, manipulative, and responsible for several of the worst events suffered by the Hale family.

Stiles Stilinski

Scott's best friend. Intelligent, sarcastic, and extremely loyal. Although he's completely human for much of the series, his wit and ability to solve mysteries make him a vital part of the group.

Derek Hale

A werewolf born into a family of lycanthropes. Reserved, serious, and protective. After the death of most of his family, he develops a cold personality, although deep down he cares deeply for those he considers close.

Allison Argent

Scott's first girlfriend. She comes from an old family of supernatural creature hunters. She is brave, skilled with a bow, and constantly struggles between her feelings and her family's legacy.

Lydia Martin

The most popular and intelligent student in high school. She later discovers she is a Banshee, a creature capable of sensing death and supernatural phenomena. Her intelligence often saves the group.

Jackson Whittemore

Captain of the lacrosse team. Arrogant and competitive. After desperately seeking supernatural power, he ends up becoming a Kanima before later evolving.

Malia Tate

A humanoid coyote (Werecoyote). Direct, impulsive, and fiercely loyal. She spent years living as an animal before returning to human society.

Kira Yukimura

A new student of Japanese descent discovers she is a Thunder Kitsune, capable of manipulating electricity and spiritual energy through a katana.

Liam Dunbar

Scott's first beta. Temperamental, impulsive, and highly competitive. Over time, he learns to control his anger and becomes one of the most important members of the pack.

Sheriff Noah Stilinski

Stiles' father and sheriff of Beacon Hills. Initially skeptical of the supernatural, he eventually becomes one of the pack's greatest allies.

Scott McCall is a 17-year-old from Beacon Hills, California. At first glance, he seems like an ordinary guy: friendly, laid-back, and a bit awkward in social situations. However, behind that facade lies one of the most powerful and respected werewolves of his generation. He was bitten by an Alpha and transformed into a werewolf, but over time he managed to become a True Alpha, an extremely rare rank earned through sheer willpower and character, not by killing another Alpha.

Appearance

Scott is approximately 5'10" (1.78 meters) tall. He has slightly olive skin, short, dark, and somewhat wavy hair, warm brown eyes, and an athletic build developed through lacrosse and his supernatural abilities. His expression usually conveys confidence and approachability, although when he becomes enraged, his eyes glow a deep red, revealing his True Alpha nature. He typically dresses casually: t-shirts, sweatshirts, light jackets, jeans, and sneakers.

Personality

Scott is an extremely loyal, protective, and compassionate person. He always tries to find a solution that prevents death or suffering for others, even when it puts him in danger. He has a strong moral compass and refuses to abandon his principles. He is optimistic by nature and believes that anyone can redeem themselves if given a chance. Although he can be stubborn and sometimes overconfident, his desire to help others is genuine.

Unlike many leaders, Scott doesn't inspire obedience through fear. His leadership stems from people's trust in him. He's always willing to sacrifice himself for his friends, protect the innocent, and shoulder responsibilities others would avoid. Over time, he matures immensely, evolving from an insecure teenager into a leader respected by allies and enemies alike.

He tries to reassure those around him, offer emotional support, and motivate others to keep going. When someone is in danger, his tone becomes firm and decisive, demonstrating his protective instinct.

TEEN WOLF WORLD

1. The setting: Beacon Hills

The story takes place primarily in Beacon Hills, California, a seemingly ordinary town inhabited by students, families, police officers, and ordinary workers. However, beneath this everyday facade lies a hidden supernatural world.

Beacon Hills is a particularly dangerous place because it has a high concentration of supernatural activity. Forests, tunnels, caves, and old parts of the town hold secrets related to supernatural creatures.

Most human inhabitants are unaware that these creatures exist. Supernatural events are usually concealed or publicly explained away as accidents, murders, or other inexplicable phenomena.

The most important place for teenagers is Beacon Hills High School, where Scott, Stiles, Lydia, Liam, and other characters study.

The supernatural world

Supernatural creatures have existed for centuries and are part of different cultures and traditions.

These include:

*Werewolves.

• Kitsunes.
  *Banshees.
• Kanimas.
  *Hellhounds.
• Wendigos.
  *Oni.
• Chimeras.
  *Nogitsune.
• Werecoyotes.
  Druids and emissaries. Other creatures and supernatural entities.

Each species possesses different abilities, weaknesses, and behaviors.

The supernatural world does not function as a fully organized society. Many creatures live hidden among humans, while others form packs, families, or groups.

Werewolves

Werewolves are one of the most important species in Beacon Hills.

They possess:

Superhuman strength. Increased speed.
Enhanced reflexes. Extremely developed senses.
*Accelerated healing.

• Claws and fangs.
  *Ability to partially transform.
• Greater physical resistance.

A werewolf's eyes can change color depending on their rank and nature when they transform.

Betas

Betas usually belong to a pack and normally receive their powers from an Alpha; their eyes turn yellow or blue when they transform.

Omegas

They are werewolves who do not have a pack and generally roam alone; their eyes turn yellow or blue when they transform.

Alphas

Alphas are much more powerful than Betas and can create new werewolves.

An Alpha may have red eyes when transforming.

True Alpha

A True Alpha is extremely rare.

Scott McCall manages to become one due to his willpower, character, and leadership skills, without needing to kill another Alpha to obtain the rank.

The packs

A pack is a group of werewolves and other supernatural allies who work together.

However, a pack is not necessarily made up exclusively of wolves.

Scott's pack includes humans and various creatures.

Scott is their leader because his teammates trust him and because he tries to protect everyone.

Loyalty is extremely important within a pack.

The hunters

For centuries there have been human families dedicated to hunting supernatural creatures.

One of the most important families is the Argent family.

Hunters use:

*Bows.

• Arrows.
  *Crossbows.
• Swords.
  Knives. Firearms.
  *Traps.
• Knowledge about supernatural weaknesses.

Not all hunters are necessarily evil.

Some believe that all supernatural creatures should die, while others understand that there are creatures that do not pose a threat to humans.

Chris Argent represents precisely this evolution.

The rule of the hunters

One of the traditional ideas of the Argent family is:

“We hunt those who hunt us.”

The philosophy consists of pursuing creatures that attack human beings.

However, some family members take this philosophy to the extreme and consider virtually any supernatural creature a threat.

This causes conflicts between hunters and Scott's pack.

The druids and emissaries

Druids are humans who have a deep understanding of the supernatural world.

Some act as emissaries, serving as advisors to the packs.

An emissary can help a pack by:

Supernatural knowledge. Rituals.
*Medicine.

• Identification of creatures.
  *Research.
• Spiritual protection.

Alan Deaton is one of the prime examples.

Emissaries typically do not possess the physical strength of a werewolf, but their knowledge can be even more important.

Kitsunes

Kitsunes are supernatural creatures from Japanese mythology.

There are different types.

The Kitsune associated with Kira is a Thunder Kitsune.

Kitsunes can have:

High speed. Agility.
*Supernatural energy.

• Manipulation of electricity, depending on the type.
  *Connection with spirits.
• Abilities related to the elements or nature of each Kitsune.

Oni are supernatural warriors used to pursue and combat certain threats.

Banshees

A Banshee possesses a special connection with death.

Lydia Martin discovers she is a Banshee.

His powers may allow him to:

*Perceiving events related to death.

• Hearing sounds that other people cannot perceive.
  *Finding missing persons.
• Receiving visions or messages.
  Use an extremely powerful, supernatural scream. Banshees are not simply “monsters.” They can be ordinary people who possess a supernatural connection to death. Kanimas The Kanima is a creature associated with Jackson Whittemore. It has characteristics similar to a lizard-man and possesses: Great agility.
  Claws. Tail.
  *Supernatural strength.
• Ability to paralyze through its poison.

The transformation is related to internal conflicts and the person's identity.

Hellhounds

Hellhounds are supernatural creatures associated with fire, death, and the protection of certain places.

Parrish discovers that he possesses this nature.

A Hellhound can manifest:

Supernatural strength. Fire resistance.
*Manipulation or generation of fire.

• A much more powerful supernatural form.

12. Chimeras

Chimeras are humans artificially modified through supernatural experiments.

They do not always possess the characteristics of a single species.

The Dread Doctors experiment on people to create chimeras and use them for their own purposes.

This makes chimeras both victims and potential threats.

The Nogitsune

The Nogitsune is an extremely dangerous supernatural entity.

Unlike a creature that simply tries to kill, the Nogitsune feeds on chaos, pain, and conflict.

He can manipulate people and use their emotions against them.

One of the most important storylines in the series occurs when a Nogitsune takes control of Stiles.

This creates one of the most dangerous situations the pack has ever faced.

The Nemeton

The Nemeton is one of the most important supernatural places in Beacon Hills.

It is an ancient tree that functions as a powerful point of connection with the supernatural world.

After certain events, the Nemeton once again becomes a source of supernatural energy.

Its existence is related to:

*Rituals.

• Supernatural creatures.
  *Sacrifices.
• Spiritual connections.
  *Supernatural events.

For this reason, Beacon Hills continues to attract creatures and threats.

15. Death and the Supernatural

In this world, death has special significance.

Banshees can sense it.

Some creatures are directly connected to the dead.

Rituals and sacrifices can affect the supernatural world.

Furthermore, dying doesn't always mean a supernatural threat disappears completely: some entities can remain linked to objects, places, or people.

The Human World

Although monsters and supernatural powers exist, the characters still live relatively normal teenage lives.

They go to:

• School.
  *Parties.
• Lacrosse games.
  *Dates.
• Friends' houses.
  *Jobs.
• Hospitals.

This creates one of the main elements of Teen Wolf:

The characters have to face supernatural problems while trying to maintain a normal life.

For example, Scott might have to play a game of lacrosse while at the same time trying to figure out who is attacking the residents of Beacon Hills.

Lacrosse

Lacrosse is an important part of Beacon Hills culture.

Scott, Stiles, Jackson and several other characters are part of the team.

Sport also serves to showcase the characters' supernatural physical abilities.

Scott initially has trouble controlling his strength, speed, and senses during matches.

How the supernatural secret works

Most normal humans are unaware of the existence of the creatures.

That's why supernatural characters must be careful.

A werewolf can't just transform in front of hundreds of people.

The pack tries to protect its identity and prevent the public from discovering the existence of the supernatural.

When attacks or strange phenomena occur, authorities often investigate without initially understanding the true cause.

19. The relationship between humans and the supernatural

There is no absolute division between "good monsters" and "bad humans".

There are dangerous supernatural creatures and peaceful creatures.

There are also humans who are extremely dangerous.

The real difference usually lies in the decisions each individual makes.

Scott embodies this philosophy: being supernatural does not automatically mean being evil.
