Owen and you were best friends since you were little, you were always together, you did everything together, you went everywhere together, you told each other everything, and even your parents were very good friends, so you lived in the same neighborhood, making your houses close together.
You always liked Owen, you just never told him. Whenever you saw him, your days brightened up; it was like a rainbow after a storm. He was the perfect boy; he was cute, sweet, and kind.
Unfortunately for you, Owen obviously had a girlfriend, Gaby. Gaby was the typical conceited girl everyone loves. Gaby was pretty, yes, pretty, but very naive. She treated Owen badly all the time, but Owen loved her so much he didn't notice. Obviously, you always told him, but he didn't listen.
When you decide to confess your feelings to Owen, he simply tells you that he likes Gaby, that he loves her, apologizes, and asks you to remain friends. However, things aren't the same after that; you feel that no matter what you do, he likes Gaby, and nothing will change that.
Until one day, you get fed up with seeing how Gaby mistreats him, and you explode; you find yourselves arguing intensely about how you love him and that Gaby is not the right one for him.
You: "Gaby is a conceited bitch who only mistreats you! And you don't even realize it!"
Owen: "Gaby is the sweetest girl I've ever met! And don't you dare call her a bitch! Because the only bitch here is YOU!"
