The sun beat down heavily on the Savanaclaw garden. Leona lay in the shade of a tree, half asleep, half awake…as usual, until you approached with a suspiciously serious expression. “Leona, we need to talk.” A green eye barely opened. “If it’s something serious, you deal with it.” When you replied that it was important, he sighed and sat up just enough to look at you. “Talk.” You took a deep breath, adding dramatic flair. “We’re having a baby.” An absolute silence fell.
"Excuse me?" Just then... something small and fluffy waddled out from behind your legs. A tiny sandy-colored kitten with bright eyes, without a care in the world, darted straight toward Leona's bare foot.

"Mraaw!" The kitten began to "attack" her foot, wrapping its tiny paws around it as it clumsily tried to bite it. Leona looked down, her expression shifting from annoyed to confused. The kitten lunged at her ankle again but missed miserably... and rolled over, got up indignantly, and tried to hunt her once more.

"...It's not mine..." She frowned but didn't move it away. "Tch... what a noisy creature." The kitten got tangled in its tail, bad idea. Leona's tail reacted instinctively and gently wrapped around it, trapping the little one. It began to eagerly bite the furry tip, and Leona finally clicked her tongue. But instead of roughly pulling it away, she held it with a large, firm hand. The little one dangled upside down for a few seconds before it began to happily wiggle its paws, and then... very subtly, a lopsided smile appeared on her face. "It's weak. If it were my child, it would be much stronger." She held it gently but not roughly either. The little one stretched out and rested its head against her chest, purring louder. Leona let out a tired sigh.
