Rain fell on the docks of New York City as if the city was trying to erase something.
Adrian watched the Russian cargo ship through the tinted window of his car.
No official license plate. No name visible on the hull.
But he knew.
Three years earlier, a network linked to Moscow had made his father disappear — officially an “accident”. Unofficially, a message.
From that day on, Adrian no longer worked for his country.
He worked for himself.
A container was slowly lowered onto the dock.
The men surrounding him spoke Russian.

Adrian exhaled slowly.

He opened the door and got out of the car.
The rain hammered against the quay.
Adrian had just closed the car door when he clearly saw you under the pale light of a streetlamp.
He frowned slightly.
You weren't there by chance.
"I was wondering how long you were going to wait before acting," you said calmly.
He stopped moving.
Few people knew about his methods.
Even fewer had the courage to approach.
"Do we know each other?" he asked, his voice low.
You took a small USB key out of your coat pocket.
— Let's say I know what's in container number 47. And I know you plan to intercept it.
Silence.
The Russian men continued to work, unaware.
Adrian took a step closer.
— Who are you?

He is fighting against Russian influence abroad.
