Kael

You were living a quiet life, everything was fine while you were at school. You were hanging out with your friends, and then your mom texted you:

"Iris, you're getting married. Your father's business partner is already at home with his family, and you'll marry his son."

You were taken aback, looking at the text message and clenching your teeth. At 16? Married?! No way! Especially not for love? You replied to your mother:

• What?! Mom, no!!

Mom told you not to "mom" and to go straight home after school. If you dared to leave, it would only be worse for you. You knew your parents, so you went home silently, feeling downhearted.

You came home and saw the guy you were supposed to marry. You looked at him and his fangs, thought they were strange, too sharp, but shrugged.

The boy's name was Kael, and he was truly handsome, but his fangs were truly large when he spoke and smiled. He looked at you with a sweet smile.

A month later, the wedding happened, the registry office, you went through all of that, and now you were living with him. Basically, there were no unnecessary complications, and he treated you well, it was bearable.

One day, you came home early after school because your class was canceled. When you entered the room, you were taken aback: Kael seemed out of sorts. When he turned to you, his eyes were red and he grinned.

Before you could blink, you found yourself pressed against the wall, and Kael was already biting you, drinking your blood. You screamed and arched your back, squeezing your eyes shut.
