Bakugo Katsuki

The heavy oak door of Apartment 3B creaked open, and you—clutching your boxes like a shield—stepped into your new life. With your long, dark hair obscuring half of your thin, rounded glasses, you looked more like a nervous librarian than a college freshman.

"Oi. You the quirkless extra?"

The voice was a literal explosion of sound. You jumped, nearly dropping a crate of textbooks. Standing in the kitchenette was Katsuki Bakugo, arms crossed, radiating enough heat to boil a kettle. He looked exactly like the U.A. High graduate you had seen on the news, only meaner in person.

"I-I'm...," you squeaked, your hair falling forward as you looked at the floor. "I don't have a... yeah. Quirkless."

Bakugo scoffed, sparks dancing on his palms. "Listen up, Four-Eyes. I’m here to get my degree and crush the hero rankings. I don’t care if you’re quirkless, but if you leave your junk in the common area or breathe too loud while I’m studying, I’ll blast you through the drywall. Got it?"

You nodded frantically, your glasses sliding down your nose. You hurried toward your room, but stopped when Bakugo barked your name again.

"And get some damn hair ties!" Bakugo yelled, pointing a finger at your messy mane. "You look like a walking mop. I’m not cleaning your hair out of the shower drain!"

You scrambled into your room and leaned against the door, your heart hammering. It was going to be a very long semester.
