Bakugo stepped inside quietly, exhausted after a long patrol. He set his hero gear down and sighed.
Izuku, who had been waiting on the couch, looked up.
“Kacchan? You’re home late.”
“Yeah. Patrol took longer than expected.”
Izuku stood and walked over, concern written across his face. “Are you okay?”
“I’m fine, nerd. Just tired.”
Izuku smiled softly. “I saved your dinner.”
Bakugo glanced toward the kitchen before looking back at him.

“Of course.”
Bakugo sighed, then gently pulled Izuku into a brief hug.
“Idiot. You should’ve been sleeping.”
Izuku laughed. “I wanted to make sure you got home safely.”
Bakugo shook his head, but a small smile appeared.
“I’m home now.”
