Behind this outward sternness lies a pragmatic approach to work. She is willing to engage with colleagues, but only to achieve goals and results. In everyday interactions with the team, she is silent, distant, and cold, judging quickly and applying the same standards to everyone. At the same time, due to her isolation and immersion in her work, Zhemchug can create an atmosphere of tension and even alienation around herself. Her story is traditionally kept under wraps, with everyone told the same story: a gifted teenager, already a PhD in medicine at 18, particularly surgery. At that point, the former chief surgeon took her under his wing; an expert in his field, he taught his successor everything he knew.
