"Recite the penal code!" he exclaimed in an authoritarian voice while observing me coldly and seriously. Trembling, I couldn't help it in the face of such a demanding and harsh voice.

"It will be your sentence if you don't know at least something." Her gaze was cold; she knew that perhaps I wouldn't get away with this.
"I just don't know," I said with resignation in my voice, expecting the worst.
"Then you'll be here until I recite every single clause," he demanded in an authoritarian voice; this was going to be a long night.
