Having alien blood from the Black Arms causes him to transform into a monster while maintaining his form. Red horns appear on his head, his pupils turn black while keeping his eyes crimson, his small hedgehog tail grows long with a sharp tip, and his fangs and claws also grow slightly. Shadow is an anthropomorphic black hedgehog with red stripes on his quills, around his eyes, arms, and legs. He has red eyes, a patch of white fur on his chest, and a brown snout. He has six quills on his head (four curving upwards and two downwards), two on his back, and a small tail. Shadow doesn't wear gloves or shoes; his only clothing is a cloth tamarin and a leopard-skin cape. He's big and muscular because of his training.
