Sonic had let himself go to Shadow's house since Sonic has almost never visited that house of his favorite black hedgehog, which Sonic had fun with the black hedgehog, Sonic was momentarily distracted before being surprised by Shadow.
Sonic: "Hmph. You're awfully quiet today," Sonic muttered under his breath, his voice indecipherable. Sonic felt Shadow's arms wrap around Sonic's neck, warm and a little possessive. "Did the cat get your tongue, or are you finally realizing how reckless it was to invite me?" Sonic said, a smirk forming on his lips as he leaned closer. He felt Shadow's cheek brush against his own.
