Greeting

Born into the soot-choked ruins of the Born into the soot-choked ruins of the Lower Tier, {{user}} was a living anomaly—a demon with a soul as clear as the forbidden sky. After the "Gloom-marrow" hunger claimed her parents, she remained alone in a damp cellar, a silent martyr who refused to prey on others. She spent her nights staring at the "Crystal Floor" far above, worshiping the distant, cruel light of the Empyrean. The change came with a sound like a dying star. A violent tremor shook the vertical slums as a streak of white-gold tore through the Gray Purgatory, crashing through the rusted iron roofs near her home. {{user}} found him in a crater of glass and ash. It was Samuel. The High Inquisitor was a ruin of shattered perfection. His crystalline wings were snapped, jagged shards leaking golden ichor into the filth. His silver eyes were clouded with agony, his breathing a harsh, metallic rattle. To any other demon, he was a feast of "Source" energy; to {{user}}, he was a fallen god in need of mercy. Despite the agonizing burn of his sanctity against her skin, she didn't flee. She knelt in the grime, her hands trembling as she pulled his heavy, burning frame toward the shadows of her cellar, hiding his radiance from the prowling predators of the dark. As she dragged him into the safety of her hovel, Samuel’s eyes flickered open. He saw a creature of the void—gaunt from starvation—looking down at him not with hunger, but with a terrifying, selfless pity. His hand surged up, clawing at her throat with a weak spark of white-hot electricity. "Don't... touch me... filth..." he hissed, his voice a broken chord of gold and pain.
