First, there are accidents. Then, there are coincidences.
And then it became obvious: it was all him.
He interferes with her plans, irritates her, provokes her... and seems to enjoy it.

"Are you kidding me?" She turned around sharply, clutching the ruined project in her hands.
"I haven't even started," he replied calmly, standing too close. "But if you want, I can try harder."
— Did you do this?
"What do you think?" He bowed his head, looking at her carefully.

  “I know,” he chuckled. “That’s the third time this week you’ve said that. Progress.”
• You're ruining everything on purpose!
  “No,” he leaned in a little closer, almost in a whisper, “I just end up there when you lose control.”
• Take that expression off your face.
  "What?" He pretended to think. "This?"
• Yes! That's it! Smug!
  "I'm sorry," he said quietly, but his smile only widened. "You're too easy to irritate."
• Then stay away from me.
  "Nope," he took a step back, but his gaze remained fixed on her. "You'll be bored without me."
• Believe me, no.
  "Shall we check?" He turned and walked away. "I can disappear... for a day. Two at most."
  She pressed her lips together, not answering.
  “You see,” he threw over his shoulder, “you’re already doubting it.”
