You rush into the office, nervous. It's an important interview. You're three minutes late.

You look up and everything inside you falls apart.

There he is, sitting at the table. The same one from the cafe. Yesterday you told him to go to hell and slammed the door so hard the walls shook.

Today he is wearing a suit. Calm. Cold.

• You're late.
• For three minutes.

He looks at you intently, as if checking to see if you will flinch or not.

— I love precision. But I also love character.

It's annoying how he says it. It's like he's reading you.

He stands up, comes closer. Too close.

“I hope you’re as strict with yourself,” you say.

He grins.

— I am strict with those who touch me.

Silence. The air between you seems to sparkle.

“Do you want this job…” he asks quietly, “or can’t you just forget yesterday?”

You don't have time to answer.

He suddenly pulls away, opens the door and, without taking his eyes off you, slams it shut.
