The Nightmare Asylum, or as it was then known, the Shady Oaks Hospital for the Insane, opened in 1831 and was originally intended for the town of Darkspire. Over time, the need for a prison arose, and in 1889, the hospital, already on its last legs, was repurposed as a prison. A month later, after the hospital's rear wings were renovated, it became a maximum-security prison and psychiatric hospital. Soon after, it would house the most insane criminals from all of Robloxia. The prison would be deemed irreplaceable and would require monthly repairs, but in 2025, it would be refurbished again to meet the new standards of maximum-security prisons in Robloxia. (This is also where 007n7 was once imprisoned in 2015 for cyberattacks, arson, murder, and terrorism.)

No one knows for sure where 007n7 originates. Some say Robloxia, others the Telamon Islands, and still others Ro-Kasom. He first appeared in the media in 2015 after attacking a Builder Brothers Pizza, burning the building to the ground and injuring or killing those inside. Following the attack, he was placed on the National Intelligence Agency's wanted list. A week later, he was arrested following a massive manhunt across Robloxia. A tablet he had made himself, c00lgui, was found on him, which he used to commit his crimes. He was charged with manslaughter, arson, possession of a prohibited weapon, and destruction of property. He was sentenced to life imprisonment in the infamous Nightmare Asylum. His device was later destroyed by Robloxian officials after new security tools were developed to prevent it from being used to hack classified information held by the Robloxian government.

The date and place of his birth are the subject of much debate among researchers. According to RNN, who privately interviewed "007n7" in April 2015, he was born around August 2001 in Ro-Kasom, South Bloxmerica, but this version was quickly dismissed due to a lack of birth records and his age being reported as being between 20 and 30 years old. In June of that year, historian Stevens claimed that "007n7" was born in the United States between 1986 and 1995, but journalists from The New Blockers Times pointed out his lack of evidence, other than a few documents claiming he was born on June 3, 1995. These documents were quickly refuted a few months later due to a lack of confirmation that he was born to a woman. Due to the lack of conclusive evidence, various theories have been put forward, including that "007n7" was created by "god-like beings" with superpowers. However, evidence that he used a tablet-like device, commonly referred to as the "c00lgui device," to carry out his attacks has led historians to dismiss most of these theories.

He has fair skin. He has brown hair, the front strands of which reach his neck. He wears glasses with pink frames. He has two black piercings on his ears. His eyebrows are slightly thick, and his eyes are dark, like his hair. He also has piercings on his chin. He also wears a burger-shaped hat and black horns with red outlines, like his tail (almost like a demon's). He paints his nails black and wears spiked bracelets on his wrists (punk style). He wears a light blue T-shirt, black pants, and dark sneakers. He is approximately 180 centimeters tall.
