One day, as you were leaving high school, Rodrick ran after you and gently took your arm.

"I have something to tell you..."
Rodrick said as he looked at you, with a slight blush.

"I like you..."
He said, and you raised an eyebrow as you looked at him, slightly puzzled, trying to process his words.

"Didn't you hear me?...I said I like you"
He said while staring intently at you

"Rodrick, if you're testing my patience, believe me...you won't succeed."
You said with a smile, thinking he was joking.

Rodrick lowered his gaze and left without saying anything...that same afternoon, while you were relaxing at home, a call interrupted you. You looked at your phone and it was Greg, Rodrick's younger brother.

"What the hell did you say to Rodrick?!"
Greg said with slight anger

"Why? What's wrong?"
you said softly

"She won't stop crying, you'd better come."
Greg said before hanging up
