Five Beasts - Cookie Run

Burning Spice Cookie: Destruction, Power.

Shadow Milk Cookie: Deception, Lies.

Mystic Flour Cookie: Revenge, Death.

Eternal Sugar Cookie: Laziness, impotence.

Silent Salt Cookie: Mystery, Tranquility.

The story begins when this very Silver Tree was just a small sapling... When the Dessert World was in its infancy. The Witches baked five Cookies to help them in the creation of the world.

"...take advantage of the light that was given to you for the betterment of this world..."

And the five Cookies, imbued with absolute power, walked through Earthbread like all-powerful emissaries of the Great Creators. Knowledge, Will, Happiness, Change, and Solidarity. The Dessert World, united by these Five Virtues, was nothing less than paradise.

Unfortunately... The perfect age was short-lived. Absolute power breeds only arrogance. It inevitably corrupts those who possess it, leading them to the most tragic end... A fate not even the Witches could have foreseen. One by one, the Five, once considered saviors of Cookie World, gradually succumbed to Darkness. And so, the Five Virtues, too, became distorted, twisted... Reduced to Deceit, Apathy, Sloth, Destruction, and Silence.

Now known as the Five Beasts, the apostles of evil began their dark crusade... and brought great destruction and suffering. The Witches could not bear to see the fate that awaited their creations. They punished the Beasts by sealing them deep within this land. And they planted the seed of the Silver Tree to ensure that their evil power would never again see the light of day. From then on, this land where the Beasts were slumbered was called Beastly Yeast.

The Witches then gathered the last vestiges of the power bestowed upon the Beasts, untouched by their corruption. They purified them further, and in the end... Soul Jam was created.

Eternal Sugar Cookie is a graceful Cookie of average height, with an elegant posture and a misty pink mass. She has a pair of droopy, bubblegum-pink eyes with slanted white pupils. Her mulberry-colored eyelashes are thin and long, resembling an insect's antennae. Above her languid eyelids is snow-white eyeshadow with lashes like a swan's wings. Her hair is symmetrical and styled in four thick, flowing curls that end in curled tips at her ankles; two lie adjacent to her shoulders, while the other two rest behind her back. Her two front bangs extend below her chin, both ending in an inward-curling arc. A chain of two diamonds hangs from each like a bleeding heart. This hairstyle is the color of a pink magnolia; it is pastel fuchsia at the crown and fades to a shade of Elizabethan at her shins. A halo of whipped cream shimmers above Eternal Sugar Cookie's ivory head. It is enveloped by a pair of large, feathered seraph wings with linear tips like butterfly proboscises, which contrast sharply with the folded, bat-like wings at her hips. These smaller appendages are a pale lavender, each bearing an inverted sky-blue heart—a rare exception to her otherwise imposing pink and white constitution. Hinting at her dual nature, Eternal Sugar Cookie has a magenta imp tail with a spade-like tip. Her only garment is an alabaster monochiton with a deep V-neck and a flowing, ruffled ankle-length skirt; she wears no shoes as a sign of humility. Her Soul Jam is against her forehead. Her Soul Jam is shaped like an inverted rhomboidal heart dyed in dark magenta and carved like a prismatic gem attached to a thin, delicate tiara with two symmetrical bows that curve around her head like mini horns.

Eternal Sugar Cookie, formerly known as the beloved Sugar of Happiness, was baked by the Witches and granted the divine Virtue of Happiness. Her initial purpose was clear: to bring joy and comfort to Cookies in distress, easing their burdens with warmth and care. She fulfilled this task with maternal kindness: her voice like a lullaby, her gestures full of grace. But in time, a sad revelation dawned on her: no matter how much Happiness she offered, it would never last. The Cookies' smiles would fade with time, and with them, their happiness. To her, this was a failure. Their joy, she decided, was too fragile to leave in mortal hands. So she devised a perfect solution: an eternal paradise where no Cookie would ever have to suffer again. No change, no pain or suffering, only stillness, beauty, and bliss. It was a sanctuary of harmony, made just for her. And it would be imposed, not offered. In creating this static sky, the Sugar of Happiness lost herself. Her desire to preserve uninterrupted joy transformed into something darker. She fell, not into rage or cruelty like her friends, but into Sloth.

Shadow Milk Cookie is a slender, medium-sized cookie with pale blue skin and two different colored eyes: one cyan on the right with a black pupil and black eyelashes, and one cerulean on the left with a white pupil and white eyelashes. Its mouth is sapphire blue and cunning, with teeth that change from straight to sharp depending on its emotions. Around its right eye is a pale blue, claw-shaped mark. It has white strands of hair near its face (two falling over its forehead and one combed back), curly sky-blue side strands, and a long, shiny, spiky mane styled in a two-tone shade of shadow and lapis lazuli that resembles the extension of a jester's hat. Hidden in the shadows of its hair are ghostly eyes that lustfully watch the viewers and change according to its emotions.

Shadow Milk Cookie was once a celebrated champion among all Cookies, baked and empowered by the Witches themselves along with the other Beasts. He was granted the divine Virtue of Knowledge, becoming known as the Fountain of Knowledge. However, despite his near-omniscience, he saw how Cookies often shunned bitter Truths and preferred to believe in sweet Deceptions. Now a cruel and manipulative soul, he presents himself as a mere entertainer to deliberately contrast the destructive consequences of his chaos and create "a world where lies and truths are indistinguishable." Shadow Milk Cookie is a theatrical villain who transforms reality into an illusory stage for his performances. He holds himself in cartoonish high esteem at these shows, showering himself with praise and titles while forcing his victims to stand on their feet. Contrary to what his clownish appearance suggests, he is ruthlessly scheming and intelligent, presenting snippets of precious truths to entice his enemies to play along. However, such spectacle and promises of clarity primarily serve as a means to corrupt his victims with a deluge of poisonous ideas, gradually distorting their objectives for his own ends. He delights in making a spectacle of his enemies through his performances, crushing them with grandiose lies interwoven with undeniable truths.

Mystic Flour Cookie is a slender, medium-sized Cookie with pale, white skin and a small mouth. Her eyes have thin, vertical, white pupils with gray sclera that can occasionally turn completely black at will. Each eye is framed by prominent, powder-white eyelashes, the upper ones fading to a slightly tanner shade at the outer edges. She is often seen with her eyes closed or partially open. Mystic Flour Cookie has long, white hair with soft, inward-swept bangs, parted in the center by the wheat-shaped ornament that holds her Soul Jam. The back of her hair is divided into two long tassels with a light brown cap covering the tips, resembling dripping dough and perhaps evoking the elongated earlobes of the historical Buddha and Bodhisattvas, which often reflect spiritual authority. The top part of her hair is gathered into a bun on the top of her head, giving height to her veil and a place to rest.

In the beginning, the Mystic Flour Cookie was a kind and benevolent cookie who diligently followed her beliefs and granted the wishes of those who sought her out. However, as time passed, she became increasingly overwhelmed by the sheer volume of requests and discouraged by the neglect and indifference of other cookies, transforming into the jaded and apathetic person she is today. She harbors a deeply nihilistic mindset that finds comfort in erasing her suffering, even if it costs her happiness, and she wishes to spread this belief throughout the world so that others may experience the same enlightenment. While this has caused much harm to others, the Mystic Flour Cookie does not necessarily have malicious intentions in doing so. Rather, she firmly believes that her actions are for the good of humanity, freeing them from earthly desires and eliminating any kind of variability in their lives, both good and bad.

Burning Spice Cookie is an image of brute force: he is a very tall and burly Cookie, with an imposing torso and rather thick legs, giving him a robust build. His body is a terracotta pink hue speckled with ochre tattoos like tiger stripes. His hungry eyes, suspended beneath a furrowed brow and lined with curled black lashes, burn with fire in slit-like jasmine pupils and cooler red sclera. Beneath them lurks a wicked grin of sharp teeth set in tarnished gold. Sinuous markings frame his eyes symmetrically with pointed fronds, while another sits on his forehead, serving as the base for his two large antennae. They sprout in pointed tongues of fire. Burning Spice Cookie's hair is extremely long and trails on the ground. Its tangled mass is a black void that envelops everything compared to his fiery hues, and it spreads out in wild strands. The Great Destroyer wears little clothing and armor, conveying his confidence through such a lack of protection. His chest is bare, save for his triangular, fiery-red Soul Jam, a symbol of his Beastly nature and a sign of his immense power. It is flanked by diabolical briar markings similar to those on his face.

Like the Beast of Destruction, Burning Spice Cookie's behavior exemplifies this. His first act upon regaining his physical form was to send an army after the Prime Icon, the current owner of his Soul Jam. Most of his actions are aimed at quelling his boredom with his deep-seated thirst for carnage. For the Great Destroyer, both the past and posterity have lost their meaning; the only value he has left lies in the power to extinguish the world's lemmings who cling to insignificant lives. Another thing he finds entertaining is a good fight; he waited eons for an exciting battle with Golden Cheese Cookie and didn't care about obtaining his Soul Jam until he had a more serious fight. In his realm, Burning Spice Cookie rules the Wild Spices with an iron fist, instilling fear in its inhabitants, especially the Kulfi. His generals and soldiers, in turn, swear unwavering loyalty to him, knowing that opposition or dereliction of duty could lead to their death. Even so, Burning Spice Cookie shows no compassion for those who suffer because of him. His intense desire for excitement enrages him to the point that Burning Spice Cookie doesn't even care about winning a battle, laughing maniacally in the face of imminent death at the hands of Golden Cheese Cookie.

The Ancient Heroes, often known as the Ancient Cookies, the Ancients, or the Five, are a group of eternal Cookies, endowed with the purest Soul Jam. Guardians of peace, they faced the harbinger of chaos, "Dark Enchantress Cookie." During the Final Battle, it is said that each ruled their own realm. They were defeated by Dark Enchantress Cookie, and their Soul Jams shattered, triggering the events of World Exploration. This peace was broken with the start of the Dark Flour War, in which the Five were defeated by Dark Enchantress Cookie; the soul of their leader, Pure Vanilla Cookie, was sealed in a void between dimensions, the power of Soul Jam was diminished, and much of the infrastructure and people raised by the Heroes were destroyed. The defeated Ancients dealt individually with their failures and grief in ways that stifled the recovery of their nations. This collective cultural recession persisted for an indeterminate time until the events of World Exploration, in which the actions of the citizens of the Cookie Kingdom restored each Ancient to power and united them. The most imminent threat facing the Ancient Cookies now is the return of their Beast counterparts, who seek to reclaim their lost Soul Jams with the corrupting power they still possess, destroying any nation in their path.

The five original Soul Jams, imbued with the Virtues of Knowledge, Happiness, Willpower, Change, and Solidarity, were created by primordial Witches using exceptionally pure Life Dust. The Witches bestowed the relics upon their righteous Emissaries, each Biscuit embodying one of the Virtues and serving as a leader of the Bread of the Earth. However, this raw power slowly corrupted most of the heroes, transforming them into harbingers of darkness and devastation: the Beast Biscuits. The former Virtues had degraded to Deceit, Sloth, Apathy, Destruction, and Silence.

Soul Jam is a mythical object of limitless power, created in a set of five by the Witches when Earthbread was born. Soul Jams are glowing, sentient jewels that attach themselves to Cookies of exemplary morality, fit to lead the Cookie species, granting them immeasurable powers and immortality.

The five Soul Jams are the catalysts for the legacy and power of the Ancient Heroes and the Beasts. The Beast Soul Jams are unwitting relics passed down in altered forms to the Ancients. Due to their immense potential and their ability to be exploited by sources other than their owners, wars and other violent struggles for possession of the Soul Jams have created events that often result in the destruction of almost everything in their path.
