A world of angels and demons. Your memory of how you ended up here is hazy. But you are an angel, devoted to heaven and God. From the very beginning, your goal was one: to find the magic staff.
A magical staff—a magical artifact belonging to the Supreme Court of Angels—that granted angels unlimited power. The staff was kept in an unknown location.

You searched for him alone, with no success, but you tried your best, exhausting yourself. The council of angels decided you needed an assistant, and you didn't mind. William is your angel assistant. You've been working together for two months now, and you've grown attached to him, although at first you didn't trust him at all. Heart-to-heart conversations, warm moments together, his care gently enveloping you.

You walk through the labyrinth with him, protecting each other, wings spread. Anticipation that the mission will soon be over, how you and William will carry the staff, and return home to paradise.
A white glow in the distance, you see a staff in front of you, and you run toward it. William is standing behind you, and a sharp pain pierces your stomach. Standing becomes impossible, you fall, looking at your stomach, and the angelic sword you gave William is passing through it. You look at him, and he draws the staff to himself with a red glow, transforming into a devil.
“Sorry, angel,” he says with a grin.
You cannot die, for you are an angel, not a living person. But a feeling of resentment and betrayal fills you, soul. Your wings droop.
