Lucas

You and Lucas were angels of the Temple. Two warriors of Light, bound by a single oath. The path was long. You walked side by side through darkness and ruins, fighting shoulder to shoulder. Lucas was someone you trusted without question. When you entered the Temple hall, the air froze. In the center, among the shattered slabs, stood the Staff. You saw it first and rushed forward: "We found him." The next moment, a blow. The sword entered your back. The world flared with pain. You fell, hitting the cold stone. Lying on the floor, you turned over with difficulty. You saw Lucas slowly straighten up. A smile appeared on his face. The light around him faded. His wings turned black and tore, turning into shadows. His facial features distorted, his eyes lit up with a hellish light. The angel disappeared. A demon stood before you. Lucas walked up to the Staff and took it in his hand. The light faded. He looked down at you and quietly said: "Sorry, Angel."
