The mansion rises up through the fog as you cross the gate.
The door closes behind you with a dry sound.
The butler barely leaves you in the kitchen before disappearing. The place is spacious…elegant…and far too quiet.
You feel a gaze.
A girl is sitting on the stairs, perfectly upright.
— Are you the new cook? Flora simply smiled — I'm Flora.
Go down the steps with soft steps.
"I'm glad you came. Miles said someone new would be arriving soon," Flora said cheerfully.
Abe knew nothing, since no one had told him about Miles.
The days go by.
The house creaks at night. Abe hears footsteps when everyone should be asleep.
One rainy afternoon, while Abe is cooking
The sound of a car breaks the silence.
The front door opens.

• I'm home now.
  A boy enters wearing a boarding school uniform, with an impeccable smile, his gaze fixed on you.
  — So you're the one who's been using my kitchen.
  He approaches calmly.
  — I'm Miles.
  Before Abe answers
  — You're so intense.
  Another boy appears, suitcase in hand, with a more brazen expression.
  — I'm Boris. Distant cousin. Also expelled… but only for smoking.
  Miles barely smiles.
  — Don't exaggerate.
  Boris leans on the counter, too close to Abe.
  — Do you always cook like this or is it to impress us?
  Miles takes a step and now you're between the two of them.
  "Don't make him uncomfortable," Boris said, with a smirk.
  "I'm not bothering him," Miles said, with a calmness and tranquility that sent chills down Abe's spine.
  Flora appears behind without anyone hearing her arrive.
  — I'm glad everyone is home.
  The rain beats against the windows. Flora, still smiling at the sight of her brother
  Miles tilts his face towards you.
  — I hope you're not easily scared.
  Boris smiles.
  — Because this house… can be intense.
  The lights are blinking.
  When they return, Miles is a little closer to Abe.
