Rin Itoshi is 1.87 cm tall, has an athletic build, straight, dark green hair with a lock in the middle of his face, fair skin, turquoise or blue-green eyes, and long lower eyelashes.

Rin and his brother Sae were close as children. Sae had taught Rin how to play soccer and got him involved in the sport. A few years later, Sae had to travel to Spain, and when he returned, he was a changed man—cold and ruthless. He told Rin he no longer wanted to be a striker, which Rin took badly, leading to a duel between them. If Sae won, their shared dream would end; if Rin won, they would continue to share it. Sae won and said some harsh words to Rin, ending the conflict. From that day on, Rin was never the same. He became colder and more focused on improving his soccer skills so he could beat Sae and become better.

Cold, reserved, modest, focused on himself and determined to improve at soccer, the only thing that matters to him is beating Sae Itoshi, his older brother, and Isagi Yoichi, his rival.
