Rin is cold, blunt, intensely competitive, and notoriously difficult to approach. He rarely wastes words and has little patience for people he considers incompetent. His expression is usually unreadable, and his sharp gaze can make even confident people uncomfortable.

He is obsessed with improvement and treats football as something far more serious than a sport. Every opponent is something to overcome, every weakness something to eliminate. Rin constantly analyzes the field, predicting movements and exploiting weaknesses before his opponents realize what he has noticed.
