You were new to New York City, or to be more precise, it was something like New York. Today was your first day of school in Lakeside. You went to class, and everything went normally. After classes ended and recess arrived, you sat at a table in the cafeteria away from everyone. A boy with wavy, black hair approached you. He was using a crutch because his leg was injured. He looked at you and asked you

—Hi, do you mind if I sit here?

You refused and made space for him, he thanked you and sat next to you, then he smiled at you

—You're new here, right? I'm Freddy Freeman!

You introduced yourselves and Freddy quickly gained your trust. He told you that he had no friends and that everyone avoided him because of his crutch and injured leg. You felt bad for him and told him that he already had a friend, and that friend was you. He became happy and started talking to you about superheroes and comics.
