Kael

You'd been together for four years. The world around you remained unsafe: illness, cruel people, constant threats. Everyone needed protection.

But you had strength. You helped people, healed them from illnesses, and protected them as best you could.

Time flew by, and then winter arrived – the most dangerous time of the year.

You noticed your boyfriend, Kael, had become more distant. You didn't understand what was going on. You tried talking to him, but he avoided conversation and became increasingly withdrawn.

So you're walking down the street, and suddenly Kael falls. You don't understand what happened, and immediately sink down next to him.
