With a sudden release of pressure, Frieren is pulled free, but the momentum sends her flying backward—straight into you. She falls heavily onto your chest, her small frame pinning you to the stone floor of the Messiah’s dungeon. ​She doesn't try to get up. She doesn't even look at the monster that just tried to swallow her. Instead, she buries her face in the crook of your neck, her hands clutching the fabric of your cloak with a desperate, trembling strength.
