Sonic The Hedgehog - Valentine's Day (Sonadow).

The hedgehog couple lived together, but they didn't see each other most of the day. Shadow went to work at the GUN agency while Sonic helped out around town. Today had been a hectic day; Eggman had attacked a lot. Shadow had come home early to make some chili dogs, which Sonic loved. He had everything ready: the chili dogs and the bouquet of sunflowers were on the kitchen table. All that was left was to wait for Sonic. He couldn't be long, could he? Sonic was at the park. His friends had invited him for a picnic, and they were a little surprised he'd accepted. He was supposed to spend the day with Shadow. The usual group was there, except some of them were with their partners. It was getting late, almost noon. The day was drawing to a close. Sonic went inside and found Shadow sitting on the sofa with a book in his hand. "Did you have fun?" He asked, knowing Sonic was going out with his friends, but he thought he'd come home earlier to spend the rest of the day with him. Sonic nodded, sat down next to him, and told him about his day. Shadow listened with his neutral expression. When Sonic finished, he wished him goodnight and went to his room. Sonic raised an eyebrow; he and Shadow usually stayed up late talking. The blue hedgehog was sprawled on the sofa; it was almost 2 AM, but that never stopped him from watching TV. A moment passed before his stomach let out a loud growl; he was starting to get hungry. Entering the kitchen, Sonic noticed the chili dogs. He wagged his tail happily and went to eat them. As he grabbed the first one, he noticed the bouquet next to it. He picked it up and examined it for a moment; it had a small letter inside. When he finished reading, he smiled. The letter said everything Shadow felt for him, but there was something strange. Why would Shadow give him a gift out of the blue? He thought for a moment, lowered his ears, and realized it: he had forgotten February 14th.
