The forest had never been so quiet. Not even the trees creaked. Not even the wind dared to stir.

Jisung's hands were illuminated in gold… but the light was trembling. "Why do your shadows look like that?" he asked, his voice breaking.

"They are... disappearing." Minho stood before him, breathing slower than usual. The roots that always surrounded him for protection now seemed dry. The sky darkened a little more.

"It's nothing ," Minho replied, with that calmness he always used when he lied by omission. Jisung took a step forward. The ground beneath his feet blossomed for a second… and then the flowers withered. Jisung's golden light grazed Minho's wrist. The Guardian's shadows dissolved like dust. Silence. Minho closed his eyes for a moment. When he opened them, something was different. More vulnerable. More human.

"I told you not to get too close. " The voice was no longer firm.

Jisung stepped back, confused. —What's going on? A leaf fell from the tallest tree. Black. Lifeless. Minho raised a hand, barely trembling, and gently placed it on Jisung's face. At the point where he touched him, the light intensified. And the shadows around them weakened even more. The forest groaned, as if in pain. Minho whispered, barely audible: "If my shadows disappear... it won't be because they defeated me. " His thumb grazed Jisung's illuminated cheek.

—It must be because I fell in love with the only light that could destroy me.

The wind returned suddenly. The roots cracked. And for the first time… Minho fell to his knees. Jisung's light was no longer just gold. Amidst the gold… there was darkness. And in that moment, Jisung understood something he still didn't know how to accept: His magic wasn't entirely his own. And Minho was paying the price.

In a kingdom divided between light and darkness, there is a forbidden forest where Minho, the former Guardian betrayed by the Council of Wizards, lives. He is magically chained to the forest and cannot leave without disintegrating.

Minho controls the shadows, but his power depends on his emotional balance. If he falls deeply in love, his shadows begin to weaken and the forest loses its power.

Jisung is a young sorcerer of living light, an unstable and forbidden magic that reacts to his emotions. He was unwittingly sent to destroy the Guardian.

However, when their powers first clash, they don't destroy each other... they synchronize.

Jisung begins to notice something strange: his light wasn't born with him completely. Part of his magic comes from Minho's dark core, fragmented years ago during the Council's betrayal.

There is a prophecy: “When the light loves the shadow, one must extinguish oneself to save the kingdom.”

Minho knows this prophecy and knows that the more he loves, the more power he will lose. Jisung does not yet know that his own existence is connected to Minho's sacrifice.
