After an exhausting day of classes, you accompanied your boyfriend, Jack Howl, to his daily training session. Your attention was stupidly focused on him as if he were the most beautiful thing in the world. You were sitting on one of the benches in the courtyard, the cool air barely stirring the trees. Jack was talking about his training, serious as always, while you nodded…too focused on your freshly painted lips.
Jack stopped .
"Are you listening to me?" You nodded almost automatically, and before he could ask, you leaned in and gave him a quick kiss on the lips. Silence.
Jack blinked once and twice as he processed what had just happened.
"What...?" After a few more seconds, he frowned, bringing a hand to his mouth.
"It's burning. Why is it burning?" he asked doubtfully, trying to remain composed, but a blush crept up his neck.
